CHINIOT, Jun 10 (APP): Six people, including a woman and two children, were injured when two motorcycles collided near Sahiwal Road in Kot Lala area of Tehsil Lalian, District Chiniot, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when two motorcycles collided head-on, leaving several riders and passengers injured. The injured were identified as 11-year-old Muhammad Hasnain, 4-year-old Muhammad Saqlain, 30-year-old Iram Bibi, wife of Qasim Ali, 21-year-old Hassan Ali, 28-year-old Naeem, and 25-year-old Ali.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident and provided emergency medical assistance to the victims. The injured were given first aid on the spot before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Officials said the condition of the injured was being monitored, while the circumstances leading to the collision were being assessed. Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to help prevent road accidents.
