LAHORE, Aug 22 (APP):The NUR Foundation, an institution of Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH), concluded its NUR Shanakht Leadership Program, Summer Programs 2026, with a closing ceremony held at the hospital premises here on Saturday.
According to a spokesperson, the program was designed to instill leadership skills, character building, national identity, and social responsibility among young students, while promoting Urdu language, literary expression, and constructive dialogue inspired by Allama Iqbal’s concept of “Fard-e-Kamil.”
Addressing the ceremony, FMH Chairperson Shahima Rehman, along with Prof. Dr. Tayyab Abbas, Prof. Dr. Farooq Anwar, Mansoor Jamal Butt, and Farhan Sherazi,Sherazi highlighted the importance of character, education, leadership and national responsibility in the development of young people and emphasized that the future of Pakistan depends on an educated, confident youth deeply connected with their culture and national values.
The event featured student presentations of their intellectual and creative projects, recitations of Kalam-e-Iqbal, and a documentary highlighting program activities. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and Shanakht Awards among the participants and organizing team members.
