Senior clerk arrested over bribe

MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 06 (APP):The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) division a senior clerk of a government college for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs10,000 from a citizen.

According to the spokesperson here on Tuesday,the accused, Muhammad Afzal, senior clerk of Government Koray Khan College, was allegedly taking Rs10,000 from a local, who reported Anti-Corruption Establishment with evidence and requested action against him.

The ACE division conducted a raid and arrested the accused red-handed while recovering marked currency notes from his possession. A case was registered against him under the relevant provisions of law.
