RAWALPINDI, May 21 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Murree has imposed Section 144 across the district in view of the expected influx of tourists during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays, banning all kinds of gatherings on Mall Road except for families.
According to an official order, the restriction will remain in force from May 20 to May 31, 2026.
The district administration said the measure aims to maintain law and order, ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent any untoward situation.
Citizens and tourists have been urged to cooperate with the authorities.
