SCCI President Visits Imam Bibi Campus to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration

SIALKOT, Jul 17 (APP): President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Syed Aihtasham Mazhar, along with esteemed members of the local business community, visited the Imam Bibi Campus of Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) here on Friday. According to a press release issued by the varsity, the purpose of the visit was to present facts about the carefully designed and purposefully built campus, as well as to explore new avenues for mutual collaboration. The visiting delegation and university officials discussed various opportunities for mutual learning, aiming to facilitate students with practical internships, advanced research initiatives, and entrepreneurship programs. Furthermore, the concept of establishing a ‘Center of Excellence for Industry-Academia Linkages and Development’ for Sialkot was shared for the very first time during the visit, marking a significant step toward bridging the gap between the educational sector and the local industry.
