Sattoo Katla: Speeding car kills youth, two arrested

LAHORE, Apr 16 (APP): A young man died in a tragic traffic accident due to speeding in the Sattoo Katla area on Thursday.

According to the police, the car hit the motorcycle, as a result of which the young man died on the spot.

After the accident, the accused in the car, Ali Akbar and Ahmed, fled the scene, however, Lahore Police took timely action and traced and arrested both the accused with the help of CCTV footage.

SHO Satukatla’s team took immediate action and detained the accused and put them under arrest. The body of the deceased youth has been shifted to the morgue for postmortem, while a case is being registered against the accused.

SP President Rana Hussain Tahir has said that those guilty of negligence and speeding do not deserve any concessions, such elements will be brought to justice according to the law.
