RWMC organises solidarity walk to mark Youm-e-Istehsal

RAWALPINDI, Aug 05 (APP): The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) organised a solidarity walk and participated in Youm-e-Istehsal events on Wednesday to express support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Chief Executive Officer RWMC and Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Rawalpindi Rana Sajid Safdar, while attending the main ceremony at Viqar-un-Nisa College, said every Pakistani stood with the Kashmiri people and strongly condemned the atrocities committed in IIOJK.

He said Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, adding that the day served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the people of Kashmir.

Rana said the RWMC remained committed not only to providing a clean and healthy environment but also to participating in events of national importance and promoting national unity.

Later, the agency organised a solidarity walk on Iran Road, where officers, employees and sanitation workers carried the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

Banners displayed at the RWMC headquarters and along Iran Road carried messages expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people, calling for an end to alleged Indian atrocities and urging implementation of United Nations resolutions on Kashmir.

Participants raised slogans in support of the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and urged the international community to take notice of alleged human rights violations in IIOJK and play an effective role in ensuring the implementation of relevant UN resolutions.
