RWMC officials honoured for exemplary cleanliness arrangements during Muharram

RAWALPINDI, Jul 02 (APP): Assistant Commissioner, City Rawalpindi, Iman Zafar, awarded certificates of appreciation to Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) Manager Operations City Syed Hassan Sardar, Sector Chief Malik Gulfraz and Assistant Manager Areej Kazmi in recognition of their outstanding performance and excellent sanitation arrangements during Muharram.
Addressing the ceremony, Iman Zafar said ensuring exemplary cleanliness arrangements across the city during Muharram was a major challenge; however, the RWMC team fulfilled its responsibilities efficiently through hard work, coordinated planning and effective monitoring.
She said the awards were a recognition of the dedication of field workers and officers who worked tirelessly to improve urban services and maintain cleanliness standards.
Managing Director, RWMC, Rawalpindi, Rana Sajid Safdar, said that excellent coordination between the administration and RWMC during Muharram resulted in a significant improvement in the sanitation system.
He said cleanliness and public convenience remained top priorities of the urban administration and described RWMC’s performance during Muharram as commendable.
The officers who received the certificates of appreciation, Syed Hassan Sardar, Malik Gulfraz and Areej Kazmi, termed the recognition a result of the collective efforts of their team.
They said that despite hot weather conditions and heavy public gatherings, field staff demonstrated exceptional commitment and ensured timely waste collection and disposal in all areas.
They reiterated their resolve to continue working with the same dedication for urban cleanliness and administrative improvement in the future.
