RUDA inks accord with Qasim Ali Shah Foundation to promote community development

The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Qasim Ali Shah Foundation to strengthen community development initiatives under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative. 

LAHORE, Jul 02 (APP): The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Qasim Ali Shah Foundation to strengthen community development initiatives under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative.
The MoU was signed by COO RUDA, brig (retd) Mansoor and Qasim Ali Shah, Founder of the Qasim Ali Shah Foundation, in the presence of RUDA officials, representatives of the District Administration, and other distinguished guests.
The partnership aims to uplift approx 6 villages within RUDA’s jurisdiction through sustainable interventions in education, healthcare, clean drinking water, environmental improvement, and community well-being.
While speaking on the occasion, Fatima Ali Khan, Director CSR RUDA, said that as part of the collaboration, deserving students from these villages will also be provided scholarship opportunities in partnership with the University of Lahore, enabling them to pursue quality higher education. The initiative reflects RUDA’s commitment to inclusive development and building resilient, empowered communities through strategic institutional partnerships, she added.
