ATTOCK, Mar 24 (APP):Demonstrating a remarkable level of preparedness, Rescue 1122 Attock responded to 376 emergencies during the Eid holidays, providing timely and effective assistance to hundreds of victims, officials said on Tuesday.
District Emergency Officer Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq , while exclusively talking to APP, stated that rescue teams managed a diverse range of incidents with professionalism, including 236 medical cases, 70 road traffic accidents, five crime-related incidents, 17 fall cases, five fire incidents, and 27 other emergencies. The operations were carried out efficiently, ensuring rapid response across the district.
He further noted that all affected individuals were given immediate medical aid at the scene and were subsequently shifted to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Moreover, 23 critically ill patients were referred to Rawalpindi from Attock for advanced medical care, reflecting the coordinated efforts of emergency services.
Officials emphasized that the rescue teams acted promptly throughout the festive period, therefore helping save precious lives and ensuring uninterrupted emergency coverage.
