Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has launched and operationalized the Housing Societies Management System (HSMS) for digital processing of matters relating to Private Housing Schemes (PHS) within its jurisdiction.

RAWALPINDI, Sep 01 (APP): Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has launched and operationalized the Housing Societies Management System (HSMS) for digital processing of matters relating to Private Housing Schemes (PHS) within its jurisdiction.
On the directions of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and Director General RDA Salman Ghani, the system has been introduced to ensure transparent, efficient and streamlined processing of applications related to private housing schemes.
The RDA spokesperson said the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) had cleared the HSMS for implementation at the RDA.
He said sponsors of Private Housing Schemes could now submit their applications through the HSMS portal in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
The digital system would provide a centralized platform for submission, scrutiny and processing of applications, helping reduce paperwork, enhance transparency and facilitate timely disposal of cases.
All sponsors of Private Housing Schemes had been advised to submit fresh applications, as well as applications relating to revisions and other admissible matters, through the HSMS instead of submitting physical applications to the RDA.
Applicants had also been advised to ensure that all requisite information and supporting documents were properly uploaded and submitted through the system to avoid unnecessary delays in processing.
The spokesperson said the operationalization of HSMS was an important step towards digitization, transparency, efficiency and improved service delivery in the processing and management of Private Housing Schemes.
The RDA requested sponsors and other concerned stakeholders to extend their cooperation for the smooth implementation and effective functioning of the system
