The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Thursday organized a training session on the Electronic File Office Automation System (EFOAS) at the RDA Conference Room to enhance digital governance and strengthen institutional efficiency.

RAWALPINDI, Jul 02 (APP): The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Thursday organized a training session on the Electronic File Office Automation System (EFOAS) at the RDA Conference Room to enhance digital governance and strengthen institutional efficiency.

The session was chaired by Director Administration RDA Nosheen Israr and aimed at familiarizing officials with the EFOAS and building their capacity for its effective implementation in routine official work.
Participants were provided comprehensive guidance on the system’s features, digital file management, workflow processes and practical operation.
Speaking on the occasion, Nosheen Israr highlighted the importance of adopting modern digital technologies to improve administrative efficiency, transparency and accountability. She said the implementation of EFOAS would facilitate faster disposal of official business, enhance interdepartmental coordination, reduce paper-based procedures and contribute to efficient public service delivery.
She added that the initiative was part of RDA’s ongoing efforts to promote digital governance and modernize its administrative systems in line with the government’s vision for efficient, transparent and technology-driven public service.
During the interactive session, participants engaged with trainers by raising practical questions regarding the operation of the EFOAS.
Live demonstrations and hands-on exercises were also conducted to improve users’ understanding of digital file processing, electronic approvals, document tracking and record management.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of EFOAS across all wings of the authority.
Deputy Director Administration and Finance RDA Ayesha Badar, Deputy Director IT Dawood Khalid, Program Manager PITB Zaid Bin Tariq, along with other officials, attended the session.
