RAWALPINDI, May 15 (APP): A student of Government Khadija Umar Associate College, Tench Bhatta, secured first position at the provincial level in a stamp design competition held in connection with Pak-China friendship celebrations 2026.
According to the details, the competitions were organised at district, divisional and provincial levels as part of commemorating the year dedicated to Pak-China friendship.
Angelina Qayyum, a first-year student, achieved distinction by clinching top position at all three levels through her creative design work.
A ceremony was held at the college to honour the student, which was attended by Director Colleges Rawalpindi Division Amjad Iqbal Khattak as chief guest.
He presented an honorary shield and prize to the student and said that her achievement reflected dedication, creative ability and effective guidance of teachers.
He termed the success a matter of pride for the institution and Rawalpindi division.
Principal Dr. Asma Zafar congratulated the student and expressed hope that she would continue to excel and bring laurels to the institution and the country.
Teachers and students also felicitated Angelina Qayyum on her outstanding achievement.
Angelina credited the achievement to her teachers and parents while terming it a great honour for her. She reiterated to continue excelling in creative works to further compete at national level competitions.
