Quality education and vocational training key to Children’s brighter future: Sarah Ahmad

RAWALPINDI, Jul 14 (APP): Chairperson of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Sarah Ahmad on Tuesday said that providing children with quality education, vocational skills, and a safe environment remains one of the Punjab government’s top priorities, as every child deserves a dignified, secure, and empowered future.
According to a statement issued by the CPWB, Sarah Ahmad made the remarks while addressing an awareness and training session for children under the bureau’s care in Rawalpindi.
She encouraged them to pursue education, acquire practical skills, and have confidence in their abilities. She said vocational and technical skills play a vital role in enabling young people to become self-reliant, financially independent, and productive members of society.
Urging children to do hard work, dedication, and a positive outlook, she said these qualities would help them overcome life’s challenges with courage and determination.
Sarah Ahmad said the slogan, “Learn Skills, Earn with Dignity,” represents more than a campaign, describing it as a practical pathway to provide children with confidence, opportunities, and a brighter future.
Highlighting the importance of child protection, personal safety, and a positive lifestyle, she said every child has the fundamental right to grow up in a peaceful and secure environment where they can develop their potential without fear.
She added that the CPWB continues to implement effective measures in Rawalpindi, as in other cities across Punjab, to safeguard children’s rights and provide education, rehabilitation, and vocational training.
Reaffirming the bureau’s commitment to the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sarah Ahmad said the institution would further strengthen and modernize its child protection and welfare services to ensure that every child can lead a safe, confident, and dignified life.
