LAHORE, Sep 25 (APP): The Punjab government has formally notified the appointment of Professor of Anesthesia Dr Jodat Saleem as Principal of Amir-ud-Din Medical College, Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH).
Speaking about his appointment on Friday, Principal Prof Dr Jodat Saleem said that provision of the best and high-quality medical facilities to patients visiting Lahore General Hospital would be made a practical manifestation of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s health sector development programme.
He said the feedback and monitoring system at the institution would be further strengthened to ensure that no effort was spared in providing quality patient care.
Prof Jodat Saleem said a comprehensive plan would also be formulated to ensure strong coordination among all departments of the hospital, which would help significantly improve the quality of medical services and make administrative affairs more transparent and efficient.
He expressed his determination to utilise all available resources and capabilities to transform Lahore General Hospital into a model healthcare institution in the province, ensure a patient-friendly environment and further strengthen public confidence in the institution.
