Punjab Governor holds public meetings in his native village

Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on the second day of Eid ul Fitr held public meetings in his native village Dharnal, where a large number of local elders, notables, party workers and residents called on him.

The governor shared Eid greetings with the people, distributed Eidi among children and listened to public complaints. Speaking on the occasion, he said Eid ul Fitr conveys a message of brotherhood, love and sacrifice, urging people to adopt these values in their daily lives.
He said the government was taking steps for public welfare and making efforts to resolve the problems faced by the common man, adding that he would continue serving the people across the province.
Residents expressed pleasure over his visit and termed celebrating Eid with him an honour. Discussions were also held on strengthening mutual ties and addressing local issues.
