LAHORE, Oct 08 (APP):The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has provided vital assistance, guidance, and counseling to citizens in 9,261 cases through its “Next Gen Safety App,” delivering free psychological and emergency support to individuals grappling with mental stress, domestic issues, and other psychological challenges.
According to a  PSCA spokesperson on Thursday, the platform allows citizens to seek free, professional guidance from trained psychologists from the comfort of their homes, enabling them to share their concerns with experts while maintaining complete anonymity.
The spokesperson said that citizens sought assistance anonymously in 2,740 cases via the app, while psychological support and counseling were delivered through 2,652 video calls. Trained psychologists stationed at the Safe Cities Authority continue to assist individuals dealing with various mental health and domestic pressures.
He highlighted that the Next Gen Safety App serves as a secure and reliable digital platform—particularly for youth and Generation Z—offering access to psychological counseling, free legal consultation, and prompt emergency assistance.
The spokesperson urged anyone experiencing mental stress or psychological difficulties to dial the police helpline 15 and press 7, or reach out directly through the Next Gen Safety App for timely support.
