RAWALPINDI, Sep 18 (APP):Vice President Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) and President Markazi Tanzeem Tajran Cantonment Registered Rawalpindi Zahid Bakhtawari has said that protection of Haramain Sharifain is a fundamental religious obligation of every Muslim.
In a statement issued here on Friday, he said any conspiracy or hostile action against the holy places would not be tolerated, adding that those attempting to harm their sanctity would be given a befitting response.
Zahid Bakhtawari urged Islamic countries and Muslim leaders to rise above personal interests, political considerations and sectarian differences and adopt a coordinated strategy for the protection of Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah.
He emphasized that unity, solidarity and mutual cooperation among Muslim countries were essential to safeguarding the sanctity and security of Haramain Sharifain.
