Prof Dr Noshina Saleem appointed PU dean
LAHORE, Aug 19 (APP):Punjab Governor/Chancellor has appointed Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem as Dean, Faculty of Information and Media Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, for a period of three years or until the date of her superannuation, whichever is earlier.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Higher Education Department on Wednesday, the appointment was made in exercise of powers conferred upon the Governor/Chancellor under Para 2(2) of the First Statutes appended as Schedule to the University of the Punjab Act, 1973, read with Section 11(8) of the Act.
Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem, Department of Communication and Media Research, University of the Punjab, was appointed as Dean on the basis of being the highest in merit, the notification stated.
