RAWALPINDI, May 20 (APP): In a major breakthrough, the Rawat Police have solved a blind murder case and arrested a woman along with her accomplice for allegedly killing a citizen here on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesperson, a case had been registered on the complaint of the police after an unidentified dead body was recovered from a deserted area a week ago.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman, along with her cousin, shot the victim dead over personal enmity and later dumped the body in an isolated area to conceal the crime.
The Rawat Police utilized technical and human intelligence resources to trace and arrest both suspects.
SP Saddar Anum Sher appreciated the performance of the police team, stating that no matter how cunning criminals may be, they cannot escape the grip of the law.
