SARGODHA, Jul 17 (APP):Police, in collaboration with the community, organized a blood donation camp on Friday to support patients suffering from Thalassemia.
According to a police spokesperson, the initiative resulted in the collection of 120 blood bags, helping ensure a steady supply of blood for Thalassemia patients who depend on regular transfusions for survival.
Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Imran Abbas Chaddar visited the camp to review the arrangements and encourage volunteers participating in the drive.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Chaddar said serving humanity,particularly children battling Thalassemia, was a noble cause and a shared responsibility of society. He commended the voluntary blood donors for their life-saving contributions and expressed gratitude to members of the local community for their active participation in the humanitarian initiative.
