RAWALPINDI, May 24 (APP):Police have made significant progress in the investigation of a suspected vehicle lifter who was arrested in an injured condition after an exchange of fire with a police party a few days ago.
According to a police spokesperson, four stolen vehicles worth more than Rs 10 million were recovered during the investigation.
Police said the accused, along with his accomplices, used master keys to steal vehicles before transporting them to other provinces for sale.
SP Rawal Saad Arshad commended New Town police team and stated that the suspect would be challaned before the court with solid evidence.
