Police arrested 27 law violators, including 15 proclaimed offenders, during a massive crackdown across the district on Friday.

SARGODHA, Aug 21 (APP): Police arrested 27 law violators, including 15 proclaimed offenders, during a massive crackdown across the district on Friday.

According to a spokesperson, raiding teams from various police stations conducted targeted operations across different localities of the district.

The arrested suspects include Nadeem, Khaleel, Raheem, Rehmatullah, Sibghatullah, Noumanullah, Waqar, Tahir, Shoaib, Mueen, Mubeen, Khalid, Habib, Qadeer, Sagheer, Sarbuland, Shamus, Shamshair, Naveed, Taimoor, and Ghulam Rasool, among others.

Police recovered significant quantities of narcotics and heavy weaponry from their possession, including two kilograms of hashish, one kilogram of ice (methamphetamine), 267 liters of liquor, three Kalashnikovs, three pistols, three guns along with five rounds and two rifles along with 188 bullets

Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals at respective police stations and further investigations were underway.
