SARGODHA, Jun 08 (APP): Police arrested 131 proclaimed offenders and habitual criminals during a week-long crackdown across the district aimed at curbing street crime and maintaining law and order, a police spokesperson said on Monday.
The operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Shoaib Ashraf.
According to the spokesperson, police teams apprehended 131 proclaimed offenders, including 20 Category A and 93 Category B offenders along with 18 habitual criminals.
He said legal action had been initiated against all arrested suspects, adding that operations against proclaimed offenders would continue across the district without interruption to ensure public safety and effective law enforcement.
