PMML hails Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as milestone for Muslim unity

BAHAWALPUR, Aug 09 (APP):The leadership of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) Bahawalpur described the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement as a historic milestone for peace, unity, and cooperation among Muslim countries.

According to a press release issued here, PMLL paid tributes to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stating that their vision and diplomacy had enhanced Pakistan’s standing on the international stage through the agreement. It also paid tributes to the Pakistan armed forces, saying their professionalism, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to national defense had established Pakistan as a strong and reliable force in the region. It described the armed forces’ role as a source of pride for the nation.

The press release further said that the agreement between the brotherly Muslim nations represents a significant step toward strengthening solidarity, enhancing collective defense, and promoting lasting peace and stability in the region. It added that Pakistan had always played an active role in fostering unity among the Muslim Ummah, promoting mutual cooperation, and contributing to global peace.
