PITB organises special workshop on project portfolio management

LAHORE, Aug 19 (APP): The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), through its HR Wing in collaboration with the Global IT Certifications program and PMI Lahore Chapter, on Wednesday organised a special training workshop on Project Portfolio Management for its employees.
The session, titled “Navigating Portfolio Management Through Simulation,” was conducted by President PMI Lahore Chapter, Dr. Khalid Ahmad Khan, who participated as the keynote speaker. The workshop was aimed at providing participants with practical exposure to real-world project and portfolio management challenges through an engaging and interactive learning experience.
The session was organized under PMI Lahore Chapter’s initiative, “Five Years of Decisions. One Hour of Learning,” which focuses on equipping professionals with essential decision-making skills through simulation-based training.
During the workshop, participants were given the opportunity to make strategic decisions through a hands-on simulation exercise, enabling them to better understand complex portfolio management scenarios and develop effective strategies for diverse project management environments.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that PITB remains committed to providing modern learning and professional development opportunities to its employees so they can effectively adapt to the evolving demands of technology and management.
