Shahid met Lahore Arts Council Alhamra Executive Director (ED) Muhammad Nawaz Gondal here on Thursday.
Matters relating to the promotion of arts, literature, language and culture through institutional
cooperation were discussed.
During the meeting at Alhamra, both sides explored avenues for joint initiatives aimed at expanding public access to artistic and literary activities and encouraging greater participation, particularly among young people, in cultural programmes.
They emphasised the need for closer coordination between the two institutions to promote Punjab’s rich cultural heritage and organise quality programmes and activities for the public.
On the occasion, Muhammad Aslam Shahid also offered condolences to Muhammad Nawaz Gondal over the death of his brother-in-law, expressing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.
He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
