The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has intensified beautification and maintenance work at Al-Furqan Park as part of its ongoing efforts to provide citizens with a clean, green and healthy recreational environment.

RAWALPINDI, Jul 15 (APP): The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi has intensified beautification and maintenance work at Al-Furqan Park as part of its ongoing efforts to provide citizens with a clean, green and healthy recreational environment.
According to a PHA spokesperson, special attention was being given to the park’s cleanliness, landscaping, maintenance and improvement of public facilities to ensure visitors enjoy a safe and pleasant atmosphere.
On the directions of the Managing Director, PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, the authority was also carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of the walking track, seating areas, children’s play equipment and other public facilities.
The lighting system was kept fully operational during evening hours to ensure visitors’ safety and convenience, while waste bins were cleaned regularly and placed in appropriate locations to maintain cleanliness.
The spokesman said improvement projects were being implemented in phases across parks in the city, with all available resources being utilised to provide better recreational facilities to the public.
He urged citizens to cooperate with PHA by disposing of waste in designated bins, avoiding damage to plants and flowers, and encouraging children to adopt cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
