PFC delegation leaves for Saudi Arabia to explore furniture export opportunities

LAHORE, Jun 10 (APP): A delegation of the Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC), led by its Chief Executive Officer Mian Kashif Ashfaq, departed for Saudi Arabia on Wednesday on a three-day visit aimed at exploring export opportunities, marketing avenues and potential joint ventures with Saudi counterparts.
Speaking before his departure, Mian Kashif Ashfaq said the visit was part of efforts to strengthen bilateral trade relations and expand the presence of Pakistani furniture products in the Middle Eastern market.
He underscored the importance of greater collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to promote economic growth and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas in furniture design and manufacturing.
The PFC delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with key stakeholders and industry leaders in Saudi Arabia to discuss strategies for mutual benefit while showcasing Pakistan’s diverse range of furniture products and craftsmanship.
He said the visit reflected the council’s commitment to expanding its international footprint and promoting sustainable business practices in the furniture sector.
Mian Kashif expressed optimism that the discussions would help pave the way for future partnerships, investment opportunities and trade agreements between the two countries in the furniture industry.
