The Anti-Corruption Establishment on Wednesday arrested a Patwari in the Bhachran area on corruption charges.

SARGODHA, Apr 08 (APP):The Anti-Corruption Establishment on Wednesday arrested a Patwari in the Bhachran area on corruption charges.
According to details, Muhammad Saeed, son of Ghulam Muhammad and a resident of Dera Lawri, Khelanwala, Bhachran in District Mianwali, filed a complaint with the Regional Director Anti-Corruption, Sargodha. He alleged that Amirullah, a Patwari of Muzaffarpura North, Bhachran, was demanding a bribe of Rs 40,000 for processing the transfer of Hiba’s land.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha directed Nasir Aziz Khan, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Mianwali, to conduct a raid. Acting on these orders, the Circle Officer, along with a raiding team, carried out the operation under the supervision of Magistrate Section 30 Asif Mustafai.
During the raid, the accused Patwari, Amirullah of the Revenue Department Mianwali, was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000. A case (No. 2/2026) has been registered against him at the Anti-Corruption Police Station Mianwali.
Further investigation was underway.
