He congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb and the economic team on presenting the budget amid economic challenges, talking to APP he said the government had made every possible effort to provide maximum relief to the people.
He termed the budget an important measure aimed at public welfare, economic recovery and reducing the burden on the salaried class.
He added that Pakistan’s economy was moving in the right direction and various economic indicators were showing positive trends.
Barrister Danyal Chaudhry said the government had started fulfilling its commitment to bring economic improvement and relief to the public.
He said the budget included effective measures for promoting exports, strengthening the agriculture sector, improving industrial performance, attracting investment and accelerating overall economic growth.
The parliamentary secretary said the government had prioritized public welfare by introducing initiatives that would help steer the country towards economic self-reliance.
He expressed confidence that the federal budget would play a vital role in boosting business activities, increasing investment and creating new employment opportunities across various sectors.
