The strong response from visitors, buyers, industry professionals, and international stakeholders highlighted the growing potential and competitiveness of Pakistan’s cosmetics and personal-care industry in global markets,
said by Dr Wasim Sarwar, former chairman PCMA.
Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion.
He was accompanied by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, Muhammad Haroon Chaudhry, Counsellor, Dr Wasim Sarwar former Chairman Pakistan Cosmetics Menufacrurers Association and other Pakistani business representatives.
The participation of Pakistani exhibitors at the premier international exhibition has been facilitated by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in coordination with the Commercial Section of the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai.
Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Hussain Muhammad highlighted Pakistan’s growing potential in the beauty and personal care industry, particularly in beauty instruments, skincare and haircare products, and cosmetics.
“The UAE is an important market for Pakistani exporters and a strategic gateway to the wider region. Beautyworld Middle East provides our companies an excellent platform to showcase quality Pakistani products, build business linkages and explore new markets,” he said.
The Consul General appreciated the participating companies for promoting Pakistan’s exports and encouraged them to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the UAE’s dynamic beauty and cosmetics market.
On the occasion, Dr. Wasim Sarwar (Ex Chairman Pakistan Cosmetics & Manufacturers Association) along with representatives of the PCMA, expressed their sincere appreciation to H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, and the Government of Pakistan for providing such a valuable platform and opportunity for the Pakistani business community.
They particularly acknowledged the efforts made to facilitate and encourage Pakistani businesses to showcase their products, brands, and capabilities in an international marketplace. Such initiatives provide an important avenue for local manufacturers, exporters, and entrepreneurs to present their products to a wider audience, explore new business opportunities, build international partnerships, and strengthen Pakistan’s trade and commercial presence in the global market.
Dr. Wasim Sarwar and the PCMA representatives emphasized that continued support and encouragement from the government of Pakistan and its diplomatic missions abroad play a vital role in promoting Pakistani products, enhancing the visibility of the country’s business sector, and creating meaningful opportunities for trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
