LAHORE, Jun 15 (APP): The Punjab Governor has summoned the 43rd session of the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday, June 16, during which the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 will be presented.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, here on Monday, the session will begin at 2 pm with Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan in the chair.
The annual budget for FY2026-27 is the main agenda of the session, the notification said.
The budget is expected to outline the province’s revenue and expenditure estimates, development priorities and allocations for various sectors for the upcoming fiscal year.
The Punjab Assembly Secretariat has completed all arrangements for the budget session. Following the budget presentation, members of the assembly will hold a debate on the budget proposals and related financial measures.
