LAHORE, Aug 19 (APP): Over 3.038 million citizens have availed various digital and public services from Punjab Police Khidmat Markaz during the current year, reflecting continued efforts to facilitate citizens through modern service delivery mechanisms.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 1.114 million citizens obtained General Police Verification, while over 562,000 were issued Police Character Certificates. Similarly, more than 811,000 citizens completed Tenant Registration.
The spokesperson said more than 120,000 citizens obtained Medico-Legal Certificates, while over 72,000 individuals belonging to vulnerable segments of society were provided legal and social protection under various initiatives.
As many as 21,597 citizens obtained Vehicle Verification, 61,809 registered Lost Documents Reports and 2,247 registered Crime Reports, the spokesperson added.
More than 173,000 citizens obtained copies of First Information Reports (FIRs), while 54 Women Violence Reports were registered. Similarly, more than 94,000 citizens completed Employees Registration (ROPE), and 2,371 obtained Police Verification for Private Employment.
Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem said Punjab Police Khidmat Markaz were a flagship public service delivery project, providing citizens with services round the clock.
He directed police personnel deployed at Khidmat Markaz, police stations and other public places to always treat citizens with courtesy, professionalism and respect.
