ATTOCK, Aug 18 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Attock capt. (R) Ali Bin Tariq has said that the purpose of open courts is to provide citizens with an opportunity to directly contact the police, listen to their complaints and ensure their timely resolution. He said the police are taking all possible measures to provide the public with the best possible police services.
Acording to APP correspondent, the DPO expressed these views while listening to citizens’ complaints during an open court held Hazro Thasil under his supervision. The DPO listened to the grievances of the complainants and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for their immediate resolution.
Meanwhile, DPO visited Rangu Police Station, Attock Khurd Police Station and various police check posts. During his visits, he reviewed the law-and-order situation, security arrangements and the under-construction building of Attock Khurd Police Station. He directed officials to pay special attention to the pace of construction and ensure its completion within the stipulated period.
Later, DPO Attock met the families of martyred police personnel from Tehsil Hazro, including Constable Wathiq Khan, Constable Zahid Ali and Constable Muhammad Sohail. On the occasion, he paid tribute to the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs and said that the martyrs are a source of pride for Attock Police and a valuable asset of the nation.
He said that the police can never forget their martyrs. It is the duty of the police to extend all possible assistance to the families of the martyrs and look after their welfare, and this responsibility will be fulfilled at all costs.
