A 14-year-old boy was killed while two children sustained injuries in a road accident on Main Multan Road near Shahpur Kanjran on Monday.

LAHORE, Jun 15 (APP): A 14-year-old boy was killed while two children sustained injuries in a road accident on Main Multan Road near Shahpur Kanjran on Monday.

A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that a speeding unidentified vehicle hit an auto-rickshaw in the area, resulting in injuries to two children and the death of one child on the spot.

The injured were identified as Zahra, 10, and Muskan, 7. Rescue teams provided them with first aid at the scene before shifting them for further medical treatment.

The deceased was identified as Sufyan, 14. Rescue 1122 handed over the body to the police for legal formalities.

Further investigation into the incident was underway.
