A man was killed and another sustained serious injuries in a firing incident near Ali Chak Phatak in Lalamusa.

GUJRAT, Jun 08 (APP):A man was killed and another sustained serious injuries in a firing incident near Ali Chak Phatak in Lalamusa.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, two men were returning home after appearing in court when unidentified assailants opened fire on them near Ali Chak Phatak.

As a result, both men received multiple gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Mansoor Hussain, 65, died on the spot, while the other victim, Imtiaz Ahmad, 60, sustained three bullet injuries to his back and remained conscious.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene, provided first aid to the injured man, and shifted him to the Trauma Center in Lalamusa.

Police launched an investigation into the incident. A forensic team was called to collect evidence. Further investigation was underway.
