One person fell unconscious and four others, including women, were rescued after a fire broke out at London Plaza on Satiana Road on Friday.

FAISALABAD, Apr 24 (APP): One person fell unconscious and four others, including women, were rescued after a fire broke out at London Plaza on Satiana Road on Friday.

Rescue officials said the fire was caused due to electric sparking in a computer installed on the third floor of the plaza, which spread around three-marla building.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the site and evacuated Maryam (20), Rehan ((32) an Ashraf (45), son of Nazir.

Officials said Ashraf lost consciousness due to smoke inhalation and was shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

The fire was brought under control after timely intervention by rescue teams. Further investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
