SARGODHA, Sep 18 (APP):Officers participating in the Mid-Career Management Course of the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA),Islamabad on Friday visited Sargodha,where Deputy Commissioner(DC),Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry and District Police Officer(DPO),Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem welcomed them.
Later,the visiting officers held a meeting with the DC and DPO,during which they were given detailed briefings on the administrative,social and geographical profile of Sargodha district.
The DC briefed the officers about various initiatives of the Punjab government,ongoing development and welfare projects and the performance of different government departments.
He also highlighted measures being taken to monitor the performance of departments through key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve the provision of public services and facilities to citizens.
The DPO briefed the visiting officers on the overall law and order situation in the district,crime prevention measures,policing,security arrangements and steps being taken to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
During the meeting,various issues relating to field administration,governance,public service delivery and law and order were also discussed.
The officers of the Mid-Career Management Course expressed keen interest in the briefings provided by the district administration and police and appreciated the comprehensive overview of the district’s administrative and security affairs.
On the occasion,commemorative shields were exchanged among Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry,DPO Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem and the visiting officers.
