A 63-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his two-wheeler reportedly skidded over a speed breaker on CBD Road near the NLC Power Plant while travelling from Gulberg towards Walton Road on Tuesday.

LAHORE, Jul 14 (APP): A 63-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his two-wheeler reportedly skidded over a speed breaker on CBD Road near the NLC Power Plant while travelling from Gulberg towards Walton Road on Tuesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the motorcycle, allegedly travelling at high speed, lost balance at a speed breaker, skidded and collided with the footpath.
The deceased was identified as Asif Javed Masih, a resident of Youhanabad, who died on the spot due to severe injuries.
Officials of the Lahore Traffic Police reached the scene immediately and completed the necessary legal formalities. The body was handed over to the heirs, while the damaged motorcycle was taken into custody and handed over to the Naseerabad Police for further legal proceedings.
City Traffic Police Lahore urged motorists to drive carefully, particularly near speed breakers, bends and other vulnerable locations, and to maintain safe speeds to help prevent road accidents and protect precious human lives.
