Morgah Police arrest suspect in house burglary case, valuables worth over Rs 2m recovered
RAWALPINDI, Sep 04 (APP):Police have arrested a man allegedly involved in a house burglary and recovered stolen gold jewellery, a laptop, cash and other valuables worth more than Rs2 million.
According to police spokesperson on Friday, the suspect was apprehended with the help of technical and human intelligence. The recovered items included gold jewellery, a laptop, cash and other valuables reportedly stolen during the burglary.
During interrogation, the suspect also allegedly confessed to his involvement in several other theft incidents.
Morgah police have registered a case and further investigation was in progress.
SP Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali commended the police team and said that the arrested suspect would be challaned before the court on the basis of solid and concrete evidence.
