MULTAN, Jun 02 (APP): A meeting of the Academic Council held at MNS University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET) discussed in detail important issues related to the university’s academic and research affairs, improvement in the curriculum, launch of new academic programs and overall development of the institution.
The meeting was chaired by MNS UET VC, Dr. Tauseef Aized, while Registrar UET Prof. Dr. Asim Umar, along with deans, heads and faculty members of various departments, attended the meeting.
The academic council approved the start of several new academic programmes. In addition, approval was also accorded for the start of MS and PhD programmes in the university.
The launch of these programmes will provide students with more opportunities for high-quality education and research. VC Dr. Tauseef Aized addressing the meeting said that the varsity was expanding its programmes according to modern educational requirements so that students can be provided with competitive opportunities at the national and international levels.
The varsity administration is trying to motivate students to pursue degrees in modern technical skills for the future. The coming time will be for only those with technical degrees, so it is better for students to enroll in degrees whose market value is in the country.
