Minor girl’s body fished out from canal

BAHAWALPUR, Mar 14 (APP):The body of a four-year-old girl, who drowned in Abu Zehbi canal passing through Uch area of Bahawalpur district have been retrieved.
According to rescue staff of the Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, the body of the girl who drowned in the Iqbalabad Abu Dhabi Canal was recovered from a distance of 22 kilometers, Rescue 1122 reported. They added that four-year-old, Mehwish had drowned in the Abu Dhabi Canal. Her body has been recovered on the fourth day.
Four-year-old Mehwish had fallen into the canal while playing. The rescue operation continued for four days. The water rescue team’s divers and swimmers carried out the search using boat search, line search, and scuba search techniques.
