LAHORE, Mar 16 (APP): Due to the ongoing war and uncertainty in the Middle East, Pakistan’s air operations have been severely affected. About 90 flights have been canceled from various airports across the country, including Allama Iqbal International Airport, in Lahore.
According to aviation sources, several flights to and from Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq and Qatar have been canceled, due to which passengers are facing severe difficulties.
Airport officials have said that air operations between Pakistan and Gulf countries have been severely affected for the last seventeen days. A total of 1,955 flights have been canceled so far.
In view of the uncertainty, more than a dozen domestic and foreign airlines to and from Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Iran, among other countries, have also temporarily canceled their flights.
