FAISALABAD, Jun 09 (APP):)- Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Saqib Raza has directed to complete all important development schemes by June 30.

During his visit to the construction site of the underground storage tank at Crescent ground on Sheikhupura Road here on Tuesday, he reviewed the construction progress so far.

He said that for the immediate discharge of rainwater during the monsoon season across the city, underground storage tanks are being constructed at Crescent School Ground, Hockey Stadium Madina Town, adjacent to General Hospital Ghulam Muhammad Abad and at Pakistan Chowk on Narrwala Road, which must be completed by June 30.

MD WASA clarified that the monitoring of the development schemes is being done on a daily basis and a report is being sent to the higher authorities.

He said that providing quality sanitation services to citizens is a top priority for which no compromise will be made.
