Marriyum Aurangzeb calls on PA Speaker Ahmad Khan

LAHORE, Jun 29 (APP): Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb called on Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan on Monday.

On behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb thanked for conducting the proceedings of the budget session in an efficient and commendable manner.

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the development projects undertaken for the Punjab Assembly.

The Speaker said that the exemplary progress in every sector including the ‘Suthra Punjab’ initiative, the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ housing program, environmental improvement, infrastructure development, education, and healthcare is a testament to the hard work of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

He stated, “The plan to expand metro and electric bus services across Punjab is one of the Chief Minister’s best public service initiatives.”

The Speaker also remarked that, for the first time, development projects have been carried out in every constituency of Punjab regardless of political affiliation, establishing a positive political and democratic tradition under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also praised Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan for his services to Parliament, democracy, and the party.
