According to official sources, the patient was admitted on April 23 after developing fever and a skin rash. His samples were sent to the Institute of Public Health, which confirmed the diagnosis.
Hospital authorities said the patient had a recent travel history to Dubai, raising concerns about possible exposure abroad.
The patient has been placed in isolation and is receiving treatment in line with standard medical protocols. Health authorities are closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary precautionary measures to prevent further spread of the infection.
