SARGODHA, Sep 14 (APP):A man was killed after being hit by a speeding car near Khayaban-e-Naveed, WAPDA Colony on Faisalabad Road on Monday, within the jurisdiction of Sajid Shaheed police station.
According to Rescue 1122, the deceased, identified as Marjaan Khan (60), was sitting outside a flower nursery near the main road when an out-of-control vehicle (DAH-120) struck him, causing fatal injuries on the spot.
Upon receiving the information, Rescue 1122 teams and police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the hospital for necessary medico-legal formalities.
Police impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver for reckless driving, while further investigation was underway.
