The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Lahore Zone on Tuesday arrested a human smuggler allegedly involved in migrant smuggling and visa fraud during a raid conducted by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore.

LAHORE, Jun 30 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Lahore Zone on Tuesday arrested a human smuggler allegedly involved in migrant smuggling and visa fraud during a raid conducted by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the accused, identified as Muhammad Irfan was arrested from Kasur.
The spokesperson said the suspect had allegedly received Rs.5.05 million from a citizen on the pretext of arranging a Spain work visa.
However, he failed to send the victim abroad and went into hiding after collecting the money.
The accused has been taken into custody and further investigation was underway, the spokesperson added.
