Man held for aerial firing

LAHORE, Apr 08 (APP): Shera Kot Police, responding promptly to a 15 call, arrested a suspect involved in aerial firing near Gulab Shah Darbar on Wednesday.

According to officials, the accused, identified as Awais, was apprehended from the area. He had been firing into the air, creating fear and panic among residents.

Police recovered a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition and spent shells from his possession.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Iqbal Town Sidra Khan urged citizens to promptly report such incidents, adding that a zero-tolerance policy was being strictly enforced against the display and misuse of weapons.
